Hanzen Shou

Hi, I'm Hanzen Shou. Welcome to my personal portfolio site.

I’m currently a fourth-year Computer Science student at UC San Diego with a passion for machine learning, digital twin simulation, and computer graphics. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on diverse projects in the tech industry, ranging from cloud infrastructure to machine learning applications. I’m self-driven, eager to learn, and always looking for new challenges.

Throughout my academic and professional career, I’ve developed strong technical skills in languages like Python, C++, and Javascript. I’ve built web technologies using React.js, FastAPI, and Node.js. Whether it’s working on cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS CDK, or building machine learning applications using PyTorch, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, impactful work.

Academic and Professional Experience

I’ve been fortunate to work with organizations like Autodesk, the Qualcomm Institute, and UCSD's ITS, where I’ve honed my engineering skills and contributed to impactful projects such as the Design Based Code Generation Platform, Cognitive City Twins, and TritonGPT. My work has accelerated development timelines and improved system efficiency in both academic and professional settings.
